Careless Driving Charges In Crash That Killed Two Highway Workers

7-10-12 (Burnsville, MN)  --  A Missouri man faces careless driving charges for a crash last October that killed two workers along Interstate-35 in Burnsville.  Dakota County prosecutors say 22-year old Kirk Deamos lost control of his car, left the freeway and struck two electricians at a construction site.  Forty-seven-year-old Craig Carlson of Ramsey died at the scene and 44-year-old Ron Rajkowski of Saint Joseph died from his injuries in the hospital.  Deamos told investigators he looked down to turn off his cruise control before his car spun out of control.  His first court appearance is July 25th.
