(Minneapolis, MN) -- New numbers out this week show Canada continues to be Minnesota's strongest trade partner. Companies in Minnesota sent one-point-three-billion dollars of products north of the border during the first quarter. Minnesota Trade Office Director Katie Clark says we export more to Canada than the next four markets combined. Clark says first-quarter exports increased 24-percent to Mexico, 26-percent to South Korea and six-percent to Japan -- but exports to China fell one-percent. Overall, state exports have set six straight quarterly records.
