6-25-12 -- The clean-up effort is ongoing in northeastern Minnesota after last week’s heavy rains and flooding. The Salvation Army is providing clean-up kits and accepting donations for flood victims at food shelves in Cloquet and Duluth. Spokeswoman Annette Bauer says one of the best ways to help is with flood victims' food budgets so they have funds cleared up for other needs. Bauer says non-perishable items like canned meat, peanut butter, spaghetti and other food staples are most needed. Bauer adds that a food drive in the Twin Cities metro is also in the works.
