6-22-12 (Minneapolis, MN)  --  Ted Mondale will be the executive director of the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority which will oversee the new Vikings stadium.  Mondale was Governor Dayton's point man on the stadium bill and has served as chair of the Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission since 2011.  Mondale was appointed during the inaugural meeting of the five-member authority today (Fri).  The new 975-million-dollar stadium will be built on the Metrodome site.
