Duluth Mayor To Seek Presidential Disaster Declaration
6-20-12 (Duluth, MN) -- Duluth Mayor Don Ness says he'll seek federal disaster aid to help the port city recover from what could be millions of dollars of damage to infrastructure from torrential rains. Duluth maintenance operations manager Kelly Fleissner says it will cost more to repair than the city can possibly handle on its own. Mayor Ness says documentation is key in a request for a presidential disaster declaration and he's asking those with property damage to "please document in detail with pictures."
