6-18-12 (Chanhassen, MN) -- Some of last night's fiercest weather rumbled through southeastern Minnesota, leaving standing water in some areas just below the Twin Cities. The Cannon Falls area, still recovering from flooding late last week, was hit with another three-plus inches of rain. As a result, high water has closed Highway-20 leading in and out of the city. The National Weather Service has extended its flood warning for portions of Goodhue, Dakota, LeSueur, Rice and Scott counties through the rest of this morning. Drivers are urged to be extra careful and take necessary detours.
