Obama In Minnesota For Honeywell Visit, Fundraisers

6-1-12 (Golden Valley, MN)  --  President Obama got an enthusiastic reception at Honeywell's Golden Valley campus today as he pushed jobs programs for returning veterans.  The president urged Congress to pass legislation and announced an initiative to help veterans with high-demand skills receive civilian credentials and licenses.  "If you can save a life on the battlefield, you can save a life in an ambulance," said the president to loud cheers from Honeywell employees.  The president then went to fundraisers at a downtown Minneapolis restaurant, The Bachelor Farmer, owned by Governor Dayton's son, Eric.  Hundreds lined the streets when he arrived, many catching the moment on their cell phone cameras.
