Wolves beat Magic, get off to best start since 2001



(Minneapolis, MN) -- 11-8-12-- The Timberwolves used a balanced scoring effort to
push by the Orlando Magic 90-75 last night at the Target Center. Minnesota
point guard Luke Ridnour scored a season-high 19 points and center Greg
Stiemsma (STEEMS-muh) came off the bench to score a dozen to help the Wolves
win. Brandon Roy handed out a season-high nine assists. The T'Wolves went
on a 28-to-6 run in the third quarter to pull away. Minnesota is now
3-and-1 on the season, its best start since starting the 2001 season
6-and-0. The Timberwolves host Indiana tomorrow night. (MNN)
