Wolf hunt today in Minnesota...Ojibwe Tribe not happy

Minnesota is holding its first ever managed wolf hunt across the state today. Robert DesJarlait (Dah-JAR'-lee) is with the Red Lake Band of Ojibwe and director of the Northwoods Wolf Alliance. He says their culture features a spiritual connection between the American Indian and the wolf. He believes both their fate and the wolf's are intertwined. He says they may not have been able to stop today's hunt.   The wolf was taken off of the endangered list last January. A number of wolf hunt protests are being held around the state today.   (MNN)
