(La Crescent, MN) -- A special education teacher in southeastern Minnesota is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct after allegations of molesting children. 37-year-old Jason Barker was confronted by five students at La Crescent Montessori Academy earlier this month. Houston County prosecutor Suzanne Bublitz says it's not Barker's first run-in with the law -- that he's charged with brandishing a knife at some people in Winona County. Bublitz says Barker also has prior criminal convictions--though she says those are not related to sex crimes. Barker is set to appear in Houston County court on February 6th.
