(St.Cloud, MN)  --  The boy accused of delivering the punch that killed 20-year-old Colton Gleason of Greenfield made his first court appearance today(Tues)in St.Cloud.  Seventeen-year-old Jesse Smithers of Sauk Rapids was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and first-degree assault.  After the hearing, John Gleason thanked everyone for the outpouring of support since his son's death.  He says they want justice for Colton and hope the system will make Smithers pay for a senseles, cowardice crime.  The judge ordered that Smithers remain in custody without bail and the Stearns County attorney filed a motion to certify the defendant as an adult.  The next court date for Smithers is next Tuesday afternoon .
