The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority is expected to waste no time this morning (Fri9am) selecting the construction firm that will build the new Vikings stadium. Chairwoman Michele Kelm-Helgen says the two finalists are Minnesota-based Mortenson Construction and Hunt Construction of Scottsdale, Arizona. Kelm-Helgen says their selection will be obvious to those who attend the meeting because that firm will be the only one in the room. Total construction on the 975-million-dollar stadium is estimated at 680- to 690-million dollars. (MNN)
