Man Charged After Teen Struck by SUV Outside High School



(St. Paul, MN)  --  A Saint Paul man has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide after the S-U-V he was driving struck and killed a girl Thursday afternoon while she was waiting for a bus outside Harding High School.  Prosecutors allege 50-year-old Carlos Viveros-Colorado [[ vee-VAIR-ose coe-loe-RAH-doe ]] of Saint Paul was speeding when the vehicle struck a fire hydrant, jumped the curb and rolled down an embankment, killing 16-year-old Clarisse Grime and injuring her 17-year-old boyfriend.  Ramsey County Attorney John Choi [[ CHOY ]] calls it a "tragic and devastating loss" and says they will "vigorously pursue justice."
