Gopher women's hockey still unbeaten

(Madison, WI) -- 1-28-13-- The top-ranked University of Minnesota women's hockey
team skated by rival Wisconsin yesterday 5-1. The win the 34th straight for
the Golden Gophers, which extended their NCAA record for consecutive games
without a defeat. Minnesota swept Wisconsin in a road series for the first
time since 2004, and won all the regular season games in the series for the
first time since 2000. The defending national champ Minnesota team is now
26-and-0 on the season. Goaltender Noora Raty (NOR-uh Ra-TOO) notched her
100th career win with the victory yesterday. That ties Raty for the most
career wins in NCAA women's hockey history. Minnesota hosts
Minnesota-Duluth this coming weekend. (MNN)
