Congressional Candidates Square Off At Farmfest Debate

8-7-12 (Redwood Falls, MN)  --  Candidates for Congress in Minnesota's 1st district squared off at today's Farmfest debate near Redwood Falls.  Democratic Congressman Tim Walz said crop insurance is  his "must-have" for the Farm Bill because it gives farmers certainty where they can borrow money and where the markets will be.  Republican challenger Mike Parry fired back the Obama administration and Walz's party, the Democrats, need to be friends of agriculture.  "Enough of the rules and regulations.  Enough of the E-P-A," said Walz.
