(Minneapolis, MN) -- It took three overtimes, but the No. 1-ranked Gopher women defeated 6/7-ranked North Dakota 3-2 in the first round of NCAA Division I Women's Hockey Championships. The victory extends the Gophers' NCAA record winning streak to 47 games and advances them to their second consecutive Frozen Four, where they'll face Boston College.
