Charges Expected In Twin Ports Heroin Case

6-7-12 (Duluth, MN) --  Formal charges are expected today against nearly two dozen people arrested for trafficking heroin in the Twin Ports.  Law enforcement officials say they have seen a dramatic increase in the amount of heroin being sold in the region.  The Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force says it's been planning the sweep for six months.  Heroin-related deaths, emergency room visits and jail admissions are all on the rise across the state.
