(Carlton, MN) -- Relief efforts are underway in Carlton County to assist the more than 750 households affected by flooding in the area. More roads have been opened across the county, though some remain closed. Teams from the county's assessor's office will hit the ground Monday to complete damage assessments of homes in the disaster areas. In the meantime, a volunteer and donation center has been set up for those in need. Carlton County officials are scheduled to meet with a FEMA field team next Thursday.
