(Roseville, MN) -- A central Minnesota woman is the state's newest millionaire. Leona Veltikold (VELL'-tih-cold) of Brooten won the grand prize in the Minnesota State Lottery's "Million Dollar Jackpot" scratch game. She purchased the 30-dollar ticket Tuesday at Rooster's Bottle Shop in Brooten. Veltikold says she was shocked when she revealed the one-million-dollar prize, and checked it three times. She claimed the prize Wednesday, saying "it's going to be a nice Christmas for me and my family."
