(Atlanta, GA) -- The conference's top two seeds square off Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers face the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game at the Georgia Dome. The 49ers are back in the conference title game after outgunning the Green Bay Packers 45-31 in last weekend's divisional playoff matchup in San Francisco. Duel threat quarterback Colin Kaepernick [[ CAP-er-nick ]] combined for 444 yards and four touchdowns in his first career playoff game. The 49ers are looking to reach the Super Bowl for the first time since 1995 after falling to the Giants in last year's NFC title tilt. Atlanta is a win away from its first Super Bowl since 1999 after a thrilling 30-28 victory over Seattle in the divisional round. The top-seeded Falcons blew a 27-7 lead before pulling out the win on Matt Bryant's 49-yard field goal in the closing seconds. Atlanta earned the top seed in the NFC after going 13-and-3 during the regular season, including 7-and-1 at home. San Francisco is the second seed after an 11-4-and-1 regular season, including a 5-and-3 road record.
