It was cold up on the pedestrian bridge over the Willmar trainyard Thursday morning as I watched emergency crews working on a BNSF worker, Corey Kluver, whose legs got pinned underneath a grain car. He was trapped for about two hours before hydraulic lifts from Thein and Marcus movers lifted the train car. Kluver was flown to St. Cloud Hospital where he's in serious condition, and may lose a leg. We can be proud of the way our emergency crews worked with private companies to rescue Mr. Kluver.
