15 More Flu Deaths In Minnesota



(St. Paul, MN) --  A total of 127 people have now died from the flu in Minnesota since the start of the influenza season in October.   In the latest reporting week, 15 deaths were reported from flu and 108 people were hospitalized.  State health officials say 19 schools and one nursing home reported outbreaks.  Kris Ehresmann (AIRZ'-man) with the Minnesota Health Department says a flu shot is still the best way to protect yourself from flu.  She also recommends regular hand washing and getting lots of rest.  More than 26-hundred Minnesotans have been hospitalized this flu season.
